Sadly, just like me, both my boys have sensitive skin so I’m very picky with what I use on their skin. Since I’ve always trusted Cetaphil cleanser on my face knowing it’s gentle, I didn’t hesitate when the Cetaphil Team reached out to me to try their baby products.

Vincent has had cradle cap for a couple months now so I was curious to see if this would help. We’ve never dealt with cradle cap before!
As for Sebastien, he is head-to-toe covered in a mix of sunscreen / dirt daily these days from playing outside all summer and needs a good scrub every night before bed.
So whatever I use on either of them has to be gentle but get the job done.
To my delight I received 4 bottles. (Great sizes too. These will last a long time.)
- Cetaphil baby wash & shampoo with organic calendula.
- Cetaphil baby ultra moisturizing wash with organic calendula and 1/3 baby lotion.
- Cetaphil baby daily lotion with organic calendula, sweet almond, and sunflower oils.
- Cetaphil baby moisturizing oil with organic calendula, sweet almond, sunflower seed and jojoba seed oils. (99% natural ingredients.)
Each Cetaphil Baby product is made with certified organic calendula, a natural extract from the marigold flower, to soothe and calm the skin.
Everything is hypoallergenic too with 0% parabens, colorants, mineral oil.
I tried the wash & shampoo on Vincent first. His cradle cap was definitely less flaky and noticeable after a couple of baths. Soon after, I continued to use the shampoo on his scalp but switched to the ultra moisturizing wash on his body and I prefer that combination. His skin is still so baby soft afterward. Ugh, just the best. IF ONLY OUR ADULT SKIN COULD ALWAYS BE THAT WAY TOO.
The daily lotion is very easy to apply post-bath as well. Previously, I used a different brand (which I will not name) that takes a lot of time rubbing in and that can be super difficult with a wiggly toddler or crying baby.
I’ve also been using the wash & shampoo on Sebastien. No tears, no complaints, no allergic reactions = happy mama.
As for the oil, I’ve never been a baby oil person for my littles. Probably because one time I gave my niece a bath when she was around 18-months-old and I accidentally used the oil on her hair mistaking it for shampoo. I washed her hair 3 times and could not get it out. She was a little greasy head (cute, but greasy) for days! When her mom, my sister-in-law, came to pick her up, I confessed what I had done and she told me they had family photos later that day. I was on the verge of tears from the guilt. SHE WAS JOKING but I think I’ve been traumatized ever since.
However… I’m actually using the Cetaphil Baby moisturizing oil on myself! I’ve always loved a good oil on my own skin, who cares if it’s for babies. I have dry, sensitive skin so this feels luxurious.
My only critiques are that the smell is a bit too strong for my personal preference. (But at least it’s a nice smell.) And the wash & shampoo shoots out so fast that it’s always more than I meant to use.
Overall, I like these products from Cetaphil Baby and I would definitely recommend to a friend / continue to purchase them myself.
The best part is that they’re giving away two Cetaphil Baby Gift Sets to my followers as well!
The winners will receive the same products as I did:
- Cetaphil Baby shampoo & wash
